Sir, while applying online for CGL-2010, the software is not accepting Fee exemption for Exservicemen, whereas the advertisement in Employment News clearly mentions the exemption of fee for Ex-Servicemen. Even the advertisement on your website also speaks the same.Please update your software for application online for CGL-2010.

After Part 1 registration is complete you can visit the ssconline.nic.in to fill up the part ii online form for CGL 2010 exam by SSC.

The size(80 px width & 100 pixle height for Photo and 100 pixle & 60 Pixle for Signature) and format (PNG Gray Scale 8 bit ) must be adhered to upload the photo and signature.

After scanning the photo and signature you can convert the format and size of photo and signature in png 8 bit gray scale with help of ADOBE PHOTOSHOP or any other such tools.

if you have a scanner then follow following things,
on the scanner and set following settings.
document type = “photo”
colour mode = “greyscale”
document size = “Auto detect”
resolution = “100 dpi”
save as type = “jpeg”

and then scan.
save this file in folder and then open same file in PAINT.
in paint mode u can change its size as per they given.
size given in task bar of paint.
when u get desired size then “save as…” and “PNG”.
If u want to confirm the saved image then click on “properties”
it will show u the desired result. I try to explain the whole process.
but when u on pc then u may find it difficult.
your software may be different . i use “WINDOW XP” and “CANON LIDE 100 SCANNER”.

At this moment Education qualification certificate are not required to be sent. Relax, Prepare for exam and hope for the best. Education qualificatioin and other certificates will be demanded by SSC at later stage. Dont worry.

While applying you need to scan your signature and upload it in the signature column as image. CRFS are to be used while applying by post, When applying oniline submit the fee in SBI or submit by Debit / credit card.

Graduate Level Tier II Exam is conducted on 31 July & 01 August 2010. Yes you can apply for both the posts. Now you can apply for Combined Higher Secondary Level. For CGLE apply next year.
